Well, it was a hectic two days in LA, but we’re now back from PhoCusWright and over our grogginess from taking the red-eye!

Some of the highlights from our trip were listening to Dara (Expedia CEO), Jeff (Priceline CEO), and Steve (Kayak CEO) share their thoughts on the years ahead on center stage, and watching the 6 innovation summit finalists compete for the grand prize, which was claimed by IM@, a destination-aware travel application for the iPhone (not yet launched).

Besides the usual focus on Google and SEO, there was a lot of interest in meta-search and many compliments showered on our site. We’ll continue our focus on becoming the leader in hotel search!

Thanks to all of you who visited our booth and we look forward to seeing you there next year, if not sooner! It was especially nice to catch up with Kevin, Claude, Tim, and Jens - the travel blogger digerati - if only briefly.
