Foodies unite! The Biltmore Hotel in Miami is offering a Culinary Boot Camp for guests this January. The week-long or weekend program includes everything from basic training in knife skills, using herbs and spices, cooking Italian-style, and working with meats, seafood and poultry and grains. Hotel guests will study along side Chef Philippe Ruiz, who oversees the resort’s Palme d’Or.

Book classes with this Miami hotel and you’ll get behind-the-scenes access to the hotel’s 700-square-foot kitchen and attend classes in the academy’s kitchen lab. In addition, special tracks like wine tasting will be offered.

The culinary boot camps are offered to hotel guests and Miami residents and include up to 37 hours of instruction. The all-inclusive program, including rooms at the Biltmore Hotel, is priced at $3,750 for the week-long camp on January 18th to 22nd and $2,175 for the weekend camp on February 5th to 7th. (Miami residents wanting to attend the classes but not stay over can call the hotel directly for alternate prices.)

The Biltmore is located in Coral Gables, Florida and features an 18-hole, 71 par championship golf course, tennis courts, private poolside cabanas, a European spa, and a fitness center (good for working off all the calories you’ll consume during class).
