An 18-year-old can pay for an Indiana hotel and still face a 21+ rule at check-in. You may not find out until you show your ID. Use the destinations below to narrow your search for 18+ hotels.

Choose between Central Indiana and Northeast Indiana

Indianapolis and Fort Wayne sit on the same Interstate 69 corridor, but they are roughly two hours apart. A room in one city is not a practical base for plans in the other. Start with the region where most of your plans are, not the city showing the lower room rate.

Choose Indianapolis when your plans are in Central Indiana and Fort Wayne when they are in Northeast Indiana. From there, compare hotels for 18-year-olds within the destination that fits instead of mixing rates from opposite ends of the drive.

If both cities are part of the trip, put the hotel near the plans that start earliest or finish latest. A cheaper room can cost more in driving time if it creates an unnecessary round trip on Interstate 69.
