Hotels in Cleveland that allow 18-year-olds

By Alexander Backus · Updated August 2026

A Cleveland hotel can accept your reservation at 18, then turn you away if its minimum check-in age is 21. Every stay below allows 18-year-olds to check in, so you can book without that surprise at the front desk.

Downtown or the Cleveland Clinic?

Cleveland Clinic's main campus sits east of downtown on Euclid Avenue. A hotel name alone may not show which base it belongs to, so open the Booking page and read the street address.

Public Square anchors downtown, with Tower City Station at 50 Public Square. A downtown address works for plans near the square. For a main-campus appointment, use the exact building on your schedule to judge the hotel address.

HealthLine buses run on Euclid Avenue

The HealthLine is a Greater Cleveland RTA bus rapid transit route, not a train. It runs from Public Square along Euclid Avenue and serves the Cleveland Clinic corridor. If you stay downtown at a hotel that welcomes 18-year-olds, the HealthLine can carry you along Euclid Avenue toward the Clinic corridor.

The Red Line is a train that connects Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) with downtown and stops at Tower City Station. For a flight with downtown plans, Tower City Station is the stop name to recognize.
